In book 4 of The Last Herald we return to the valleys, Cosi calls home. He and Eva have spent the summer exploring the forests, but now their peace is shattered by the arrival of the foul god Roggon. Forced to accept his part in the war of the gods, Cosi must travel far, but he won't do so alone. Following Mother Olo's orders, Zini and Samuel scour the mountains for the source of Queen Galean's power, but they find more than they bargained for.
