One half of the couple sent by Guardian Ank to take over the Ranger's Rest, Cass keeps the books and ledgers while his wife Amara runs the kitchen. Bespectacled, mild, and quietly capable, he came to Dragantwood expecting a peaceful new life in a magical forest — and found rather more than he bargained for.
